Description
29 labdane diterpenoids, including eight previously unreported compounds, were isolated from the whole plant of Andrographis paniculata. The dataset includes structural characterization data from NMR, HRESIMS, IR, UV, quantum chemical calculations, and X-ray crystallographic analysis. Anti-Tomato spotted wilt virus (TSWV) assays identified compound 9 with an EC50 of 100.7 μg/mL, stronger than the positive control ningnanmycin.
Use Cases
Screen for novel antiviral pesticides based on the reported anti-TSWV activity.
Model structure-activity relationships for labdane diterpenoids based on the described chemical structures.
Validate computational chemistry methods using the quantum chemical calculation and X-ray crystallographic data.
Investigate plant defense pathway activation based on the described salicylic acid and photosynthetic pathway mechanisms.
Strengths
Includes eight previously unreported diterpenoid compounds.
Structures were determined using multiple analytical techniques, including X-ray crystallography.
Contains specific bioactivity data (EC50 values) against Tomato spotted wilt virus.
Limitations
Dataset size is extremely small (554.0 B), indicating limited scope.
Row and column counts are unknown, limiting suitability assessment.
Column-level documentation is absent; field semantics must be inferred after download.
