Two spatial datasets (points and lines) from NOAA characterize human-use resources in Lake Michigan for oil spill planning. The SOCECON_POINT data includes abandoned vessels, airports, archaeological sites, beaches, heliports, and historical sites. The SOCECON_LINE data includes pipelines for crude oil, hydrocarbon gas liquid, natural gas, and petroleum, as well as railroads.
Data is in PDF format, which is atypical for direct geospatial use and likely requires extraction or conversion to a standard GIS format.
