CanVec provides 50,000 vector entities of Canadian land features, including islands, shorelines, wooded areas, saturated soil, landforms, and cut lines. This digital cartographic product originates from Natural Resources Canada, compiled from the National Topographic Data Base, satellite imagery, and other authoritative sources.
