Great Britain is covered by a 25-meter resolution raster land cover map from 2007. The map classifies each pixel into Broad Habitat types defined by the Joint Nature Conservation Committee, updating previous maps from 1990 and 2000. It was produced by the Centre for Ecology & Hydrology using satellite data from Landsat, IRS, and SPOT sensors.
