Landscape Mapping for Antarctic Protected Area Management

Geological mapping and aerial imagery results from Marine Plain in East Antarctica inform the management of Antarctic Specially Protected Area No. 143. The dataset includes surficial geology maps at a 1:2000 scale and polygons outlining recommended helicopter landing zones. This work was presented at the SCAR Open Science Conference 2024 and references foundational mapping from Geoscience Australia.
