The late Wisconsinan McConnell glaciation describes ice accumulations in the Coast and Cassiar Mountains of southwestern Yukon. Ice thickness over Whitehorse exceeded 1350 meters during full glacial conditions, and deglaciation created proglacial lakes that submerged valleys under up to 300 meters of meltwater. This dataset is published by the Government of Yukon and last updated in April 2026.
