Amazon Basin Aboveground Live Biomass Distribution Map: 1990-2000

LBA-ECO LC-15 provides a spatial distribution map of aboveground live biomass (AGLB) for the Amazon basin, created by ORNL_CLOUD. The dataset synthesizes remote sensing metrics and over 500 plot measurements to estimate biomass across seven distinct classes with more than 80% accuracy for old-growth forests. It estimates total forest biomass carbon for the basin at 86 Pg C with +/- 20% uncertainty.
