192 upper canopy species were sampled in March 2003 to measure foliar concentrations of calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, nitrogen, and potassium. The data compares nutrient levels across cover types in a selectively logged area from 2002—forest, gaps, skids, roads, and decks—against a reference site in intact forest 17 km away. This provides a snapshot of biogeochemical impacts following selective logging in the Brazilian Amazon.
