Description
GLIDE numbers are GLobal unique IDEntifiers for Disasters registered in a record to make information interoperable across multiple disaster information sources. The Asian Disaster Reduction Center (ADRC) proposed this globally common Unique ID code to address the challenge of accessing scattered and confusing disaster data. The dataset is actively used by institutions including UN-OCHA, UNDRR, UNDP, WMO, IFRC, FAO, the European Commission, and CRED.
