Biogeochemical and Ecological Data from Kazan Mud Volcano, Eastern Mediterranean

A multi-disciplinary study of methane seepage at Kazan mud volcano, which calculated an anaerobic oxidation of methane (AOM) rate of 6 mol m-2 year-1. The dataset was compiled by the MEDINAUT/MEDINETH initiatives using submersible observations, sediment coring, and geophysical surveys.
