531 kilometers of Direct Hydrocarbon Detection (DHD) seismic data were collected over a 7-day period in October 1990 across the WA-28-P exploration permit in Western Australia's Dampier Sub-Basin. The Marine Geoscience and Petroleum Geology Group of the Australian Bureau of Mineral Resources acquired this data in cooperation with Woodside Petroleum to evaluate the DHD method. No significant hydrocarbon anomalies were detected, indicating well-sealed reservoirs, though minor total hydrocarbon increases were observed at specific well locations.
File formats are PDF, ZIP, and HTML, suggesting the dataset may include reports and packaged files rather than raw, machine-readable tables.
