Lord Howe Rise 2016 Marine Bathymetry Grids at 50-80m Resolution

62,360 km² of multibeam bathymetry data were collected from the Lord Howe Rise plateau during a 2016 seismic survey by Geoscience Australia and JAMSTEC. Eight bathymetry grids with 50 to 80m resolution were produced using a shipborne 12 KHz sonar system. The survey was conducted from 17 March to 16 May 2016 onboard the RV Kairei to support site assessment for a potential deep stratigraphic drilling project.
