Phillips-Sunray Buckabie No.1 Well was drilled to a depth of 9,070 feet, 29 miles north of Quilpie in southwestern Queensland. This report examines cuttings from 80 to 3,310 feet, considered the base of the marine Lower Cretaceous, and includes analysis of three specific core intervals. The study of lithology and the first appearance of foraminiferal species and Inoceramus prisms determined a section of the Lower Cretaceous sequence in this part of the Great Artesian Basin.
