A 2008 field survey in Jervis Bay, New South Wales, collected co-located physical and biological data to research biodiversity surrogates in soft-sediment habitats. Geoscience Australia staff conducted the work, producing high-resolution multibeam acoustic datasets, underwater video footage, and seabed sediment and infauna samples. The data supports analysis of covariance between physical parameters and benthic biodiversity patterns.
Primary data files and formats beyond the PDF and HTML reports are not described; users may need to contact the Australian Ocean Data Network for underlying datasets.
