Two seabed mapping surveys conducted in Darwin Harbour in 2011 and 2013 provide baseline data on marine habitats. The research, a collaboration between Geoscience Australia, AIMS, DLRM, and Darwin Port Corporation, used multibeam sonar, video, and physical sampling. Key outcomes include detailed bathymetry maps and a seascape classification of the harbor into six distinct habitat classes.
Data is delivered in report formats (PDF, DOCX, HTML); extracting structured geospatial data may require additional processing.
