Marine Environmental Quality Monitoring for 35-40 Southern Gulf of St. Lawrence Estuaries

Southern Gulf of St. Lawrence estuaries are monitored for dissolved oxygen, eelgrass coverage, and nutrients to assess trophic status. The program, implemented by Fisheries and Oceans Canada, collects bi-weekly to monthly water samples from May to November and continuous sensor data. Data is available in CSV and ESRI REST formats, last updated in March 2026.
