Approximately 1,500 km2 of seafloor were mapped using hydroacoustics and video transects to benchmark marine ecosystems. The Australian Ocean Data Network provides this data, which includes fine-scale habitat maps for Broke Inlet, a remote area 400km south of Perth. Surveys combined multibeam sonar with towed and baited video to model substrate types and biotic formations.
File formats include PNG, HTML, and ZIP; the specific data structure within the ZIP is unknown.
