Approximately 1,500 km2 of seafloor were mapped using hydroacoustics and video surveys. The Marine Futures Project, organized by the Australian Ocean Data Network, benchmarked Western Australian marine ecosystems by combining seafloor mapping with spatial predictive modelling. Surveys included the Mount Gardner study area, located off Two People's Bay near Albany.
