A 1969 marine geological survey of the northern Australian continental shelf between longitudes 130° and 136°E and latitudes 8° and 12°S, covering an area of about 240,000 km². The survey was carried out by BMR using the vessel San Pedro Sound and the Japanese research submersible Yomiuri. The results are presented as a bulletin, continuing earlier work in the Timor Sea and northwest shelf.
