3.2 fb^-1 of proton-proton collision data at 13 TeV from the LHC in 2015 was used to measure t-channel single-top-quark and top-antiquark production cross-sections. The measurement, conducted by the ATLAS collaboration, analyzed events with one charged lepton, missing transverse momentum, and two high-transverse-momentum jets, one of which was b-tagged. Cross-sections were determined using a binned maximum-likelihood fit to a neural network discriminant distribution.
The primary data is likely complex, raw detector data or derived high-level physics objects, requiring specialized tools (e.g., ROOT) and domain expertise to use.
