Forty-four trained male soccer players participated in a randomized, assessor-blinded controlled trial to examine the mechanisms of post-activation performance enhancement (PAPE). The dataset contains raw outcome data from four measurement modalities—countermovement jump, electromyography, tensiomyography, and ultrasonography—collected at baseline and six post-intervention time points. It also includes a responder classification file based on a minimum detectable change threshold of 3.26 cm.
Data is contained within multiple Excel (.xlsx) files. Group coding is EXP (experimental, conditioning activity) and CON (control, treadmill warm-up).
