Scientific studies from 2022 analyzed 42 drill core samples from the Barnicarndy 1 well, drilled in 2019 in Western Australia's Canning Basin. The data includes acid-resistant microfossils and molecular biomarker analysis from seven samples with the highest organic content, providing insights into early Ordovician marine environments.
