Micronesia Subnational NDVI: 10-Day Vegetation Indices and Anomalies

Giving access to dekadal (10-day) Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) indicators for the Federated States of Micronesia, aggregated by sub-national administrative units. Produced by the World Food Programme (WFP) using NASA MODIS collection 6.1 satellite data, it tracks vegetation health through current values and historical anomalies.

Use Cases

• Monitoring agricultural health by comparing current NDVI (vim) against long-term averages (vim_lta)
• Identifying drought or vegetation stress using the NDVI anomaly percentage (viq)
• Validating spatial data reliability using the pixel count (n_pixels) per administrative unit
