Mid-Ocean Ridge Basalt Hafnium Isotope Data and Eclogite Element Maps

Unpublished whole-rock Hafnium isotope data for mid-ocean ridge basalt samples from five oceanic ridges, including the Reykjanes Ridge and the South Mid-Atlantic Ridge. The dataset also includes high-resolution elemental maps of eclogites from the Raspas complex in Ecuador, produced using SEM-EDS and LA-ICP-MS techniques at Cardiff University. Data were generated as part of the NERC-funded Mantle Circulation Constrained (MC2) project to understand mantle upwellings and subduction zone fluxes.

Hf isotopes measured via column chemistry and Nu Instruments Plasma II mass spectrometer. Elemental mapping via Zeiss Sigma HD SEM with EDS and Elemental Scientific ESL213 laser coupled to a Thermo Scientific iCap Q mass spectrometer.
