Modelled Flood Extents for Kampala District

Kampala district flood extents were produced by simulating rainfall events over a 5-meter Digital Elevation Model using a 2D finite-volume hydrodynamic model. The model incorporated rainfall depths of 20 to 100 mm over durations of 1 to 6 hours and included infiltration effects within green areas.
