Modelled fluvial flood depth and climate change depth difference data is a 5x5 meter resolution raster grid showing the difference in flood depth between baseline conditions and a climate change scenario with a 20% increase in peak flows. The dataset was produced in 2004 using the JFlow two-dimensional hydrodynamic model as part of a generalised modelling project to define Flood Zones for spatial planning in England. It covers specific 100x100km Ordnance Survey grid tiles (e.g., NY, NX, NT) and is provided for both the 1% and 0.1% annual chance flood events.
Explicitly not suitable for identifying flooding of individual properties, detailed decision-making, or site-specific Flood Risk Assessments. Users are advised to seek more recent local detailed modelling and undertake further verification.
