England's Environment Agency provides modelled fluvial flood depth data for two annual chance scenarios (0.1% and 1%) under a 2004 climate change sensitivity analysis. The data, generated using the JFlow hydrodynamic model on a 5x5m grid, was produced to fill gaps in detailed local modelling for spatial planning flood zone definition. This dataset covers the SY 100x100km Ordnance Survey grid tile, with similar data available for other tiles across the country.
This data carries a strong warning: it is not suitable for identifying flooding of individual properties, detailed decision-making, or site-specific Flood Risk Assessments. Users are advised to seek more recent, detailed local modelling where available and undertake further evidence verification.
