2004 modelled fluvial flood depth data for England, created using the JFlow hydrodynamic model on a 5x5m grid. The data provides a high-level sensitivity analysis for a 20% increase in peak flows, representing both 1% and 0.1% annual chance flood events. It was produced to fill gaps in detailed local modelling for spatial planning and defines Flood Zone extents.
Data is packaged in ZIP files. The metadata includes a strong warning that this data is unsuitable for identifying flooding of individual properties, for detailed decision-making, or for site-specific Flood Risk Assessments. More recent and accurate local modelling may be available from local Environment Agency offices.
