Framnes Mountains and Stillwell Hills lakes near Mawson Station were studied for their present-day chemical, biological, and physical characteristics. Data includes profiles of temperature, pH, conductivity, and dissolved oxygen at various depths, alongside sediment cores for historical analysis. The dataset was collected by the Australian Antarctic Data Centre using a Hydrolab 4 profiler, with metadata last updated in 2005.
License terms are unknown. The zero point for all depth profiles is defined as the water level in the hole through the ice, which is a critical reference for interpreting Depth measurements.
