MODIS Chlorophyll a Seasonal Variations Across Australian Waters, 2002-2017

Monthly chlorophyll a concentrations derived from NASA MODIS Aqua satellite imagery between July 2002 and December 2017. The dataset calculates standard deviations for the four austral seasons across the entire Australian Exclusive Economic Zone and surrounding waters, including the Southern Ocean. This research is supported by Australia's National Environmental Science Program Marine Biodiversity Hub.
