MODIS Derived Primary Productivity Hotspots for Australian Waters, 2002-2014

A geospatial dataset indicating long-term overall primary productivity hotspots in ocean surface waters. It is derived from MODIS (Aqua) satellite images processed with NASA's SeaDAS software, using monthly chlorophyll a data from July 2002 to August 2014. The research was supported by Australia's National Environmental Science Program (NESP) Marine Biodiversity Hub.
