MODIS Derived Primary Productivity: Seasonal Hotspots in Australian Waters

Australian EEZ and surrounding waters are covered by this dataset of seasonal primary productivity hotspots. It is derived from MODIS (Aqua) satellite images processed with NASA's SeaDAS software, using monthly chlorophyll a data from July 2002 to August 2014. This research is supported by the National Environmental Science Program (NESP) Marine Biodiversity Hub.
