MCD43D63 Version 6.1 provides daily, nadir-adjusted surface reflectance values for MODIS spectral band 2 at a 30 arc-second (1-kilometer) global resolution. The LPCLOUD organization produces this dataset by processing 16 days of combined Terra and Aqua MODIS observations, temporally weighted to a central ninth day. It is part of a seven-band suite designed for climate simulation models.
