MCD43D10: Daily Global Land Surface Albedo Parameter at 1km Resolution

MCD43D10 Version 6 was decommissioned on July 31, 2023, with users directed to a newer version. This daily global dataset provides the isotropic model parameter for deriving Bidirectional Reflectance Distribution Function and Albedo values for MODIS band 4, produced by NASA using 16 days of Terra and Aqua satellite observations. Data are processed at a 30 arc second (approximately 1,000 meter) resolution and weighted to represent conditions on the ninth day of the 16-day period for use in climate simulation models.
