MCD43D10 provides the isotropic parameter of the Bidirectional Reflectance Distribution Function for MODIS band 4, derived daily from Terra and Aqua satellite observations. This parameter, along with volumetric and geometric parameters, is used to calculate surface reflectance and albedo values at a 30 arc-second (approximately 1 km) global resolution. The dataset is produced by LPCLOUD using NASA MODIS data.
Users must consult the MODIS/VIIRS Land Quality Assessment website for known issues and the user guide for instructions on applying quality flags. Individual parameters (isotropic, volumetric, geometric) for different bands are stored in separate files (MCD43D01 through MCD43D30).
