MCD43D05: Daily Global BRDF Volumetric Parameter for MODIS Band 2 at 1km Resolution

MCD43D05 Version 6 data provides the Bidirectional Reflectance Distribution Function (BRDF) volumetric parameter for MODIS band 2, produced daily at a 30 arc second (approximately 1,000 meter) resolution. The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) generated this Climate Modeling Grid (CMG) product using 16 days of Terra and Aqua MODIS observations, weighted to the ninth day. This product was decommissioned on July 31, 2023, with users directed to the Version 6.1 replacement.
