MCD43D23: Daily Global BRDF Volumetric Parameter for Visible Broadband at 1km Resolution

Daily global data produced using 16 days of Terra and Aqua MODIS satellite observations, temporally weighted to the ninth day. The MCD43D23 dataset provides the volumetric parameter for the visible broadband, used with other parameters to derive Bidirectional Reflectance Distribution Function and Albedo values at 30 arc second (1,000 meter) resolution. It is produced by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) for use in climate simulation models.
