MODIS/Terra: Daily Global 1km Fire and Thermal Anomaly Data

Global satellite data generated every eight days at 1 kilometer spatial resolution by NASA's Terra MODIS instrument. The product contains eight consecutive days of fire mask, pixel quality, maximum fire radiative power, and fire pixel position information per pixel. Version 6.1 incorporates calibration improvements for reflectance and infrared bands from 2012 to 2017.
