82 fresh mushroom samples of Gyromitra antarctica were collected between 300 and 800 meters above sea level in Patagonia, with monomethylhydrazine content quantified for each. The dataset, authored by Romina B. Parada and last updated in April 2026, reveals a significant negative correlation between elevation and toxin concentration. It also includes results from two boiling treatments tested for toxin reduction.
The dataset is very small (552.5 KB). Primary data files are in MEG and DOCX formats, which may require specific software to open.
