Description
The AusSeabed initiative, supported by FrontierSI, Geoscience Australia, and Deakin University, conducted a study to understand user requirements for multibeam echosounder (MBES) seabed mapping. The study gathered responses from 103 people across 69 Australian and international government, private sector, and academic entities via an online questionnaire and workshops. The resulting report, published by the Australian Ocean Data Network, identifies 30 specific MBES survey purposes across 10 application areas.
