EMIT is an imaging spectrometer on the International Space Station measuring surface mineralogy in Earth's arid dust source regions between 52° N and 52° S latitude. The Level 1B data product provides at-sensor calibrated radiance across 285 spectral bands from 381 to 2493 nanometers at a 60-meter spatial resolution. Each data granule covers an area of approximately 75 by 75 kilometers.
Data is provided in NetCDF4 format, which may require specific libraries for processing.
