GSESA: Global Monthly Infrared Surface Emissivity from IASI Satellites

Global, monthly climatology infrared emissivity data at 0.25-degree resolution derived from the IASI instrument on METOP satellites. The dataset covers the period from July 2007 to January 2025 and was created with funding from NASA's Internal Scientist Funding Model. Data is provided in a binary format with sample reader files for Fortran and Matlab to reconstruct spectral emissivity.
