Landsat Thematic mapper data from May 1994 was processed to classify land use and land cover across the Nashville/Middle Tennessee area into 13 categories. The Tennessee Valley Authority coordinated this work as part of the 1995 Southern Oxidants Study. The classified image was gridded to a 1 square kilometer scale using ARC/Info GIS.
