Description
Approximately 1.8 million gravity observations, including nearly 1.4 million ground stations from the Australian National Gravity Database, were used to generate this grid. The image shows the first vertical derivative of the complete Bouguer anomalies over Australia and its continental margins, derived from a grid with a cell size of 0.00417 degrees (approximately 435m). Data were compiled by Geoscience Australia and other government, industry, and research bodies, incorporating observations from the 1940s to September 2019.
