Maps show predicted probabilities of long-term groundfish biodiversity hotspots off the Oregon coast. NOAA's National Centers for Coastal Ocean Science generated these predictions using binary logistic regression trees on fishery-independent trawl data from 1971 to 2010. The dataset models four indices: relative abundance, biomass, species number for all groundfish, and relative abundance for a specific nearshore assemblage.
