Description
NCCOS mapping data provides lakebed maps and associated geospatial data for the proposed Wisconsin - Lake Michigan National Marine Sanctuary. The dataset contains remotely sensed imagery like LiDAR and multibeam bathymetry, backscatter, sidescan sonar, underwater photos, and videos. It was produced by a partnership between NOAA's National Centers for Coastal Ocean Science, the Office of National Marine Sanctuaries, and the Great Lakes Environmental Research Laboratory, with original data collected from 2017 to 2018 and assessments continuing through 2020.
