Small Streams Network (SSN): Water Quality and Ecology Data for English Streams

300 monitoring sites are sampled annually across English streams as part of a statistically designed national network. This Analysis Ready Dataset contains water quality and ecology samples from the Small Streams Network, a project funded by the UK Government's Defra NCEA programme, with data collected since 01 April 2023. The Environment Agency provides this data to support long-term measurement and detection of change in stream health.
