Hourly surface ocean velocity maps are produced from HF-Radar radial velocity measurements on a 6 km resolution grid covering Hawaii. The data represents currents in the upper 0.3 to 2.5 meters of the ocean, processed through the U.S. HF-Radar Network for near-real-time availability.
Primary access formats are WMS and WCS web services, which may require specific geospatial tools for analysis; raw tabular data structure is not specified.
