The dataset includes 2.1 GB of files in JPEG, PDF, video, and DICOM formats, reflecting radiologic collimation. It was authored by Cailin Mellberg and last updated on May 15, 2026.
Use Cases
Multi-planar interactive exploration of human anatomy based on DICOM files compatible with PACS software.
Developing virtual reality (VR) medical training applications based on the 3D anatomical data.
Creating educational materials for radiology based on cross-sectional images reflecting radiologic collimation.
Conducting comparative anatomical studies based on the detailed cross-sectional planes of the neck and other body regions.
Strengths
Includes 2.1 GB of data across multiple file formats (JPEG, PDF, MP4, ZIP, DICOM).
Derived from the authoritative Visible Human female dataset from the U.S. National Library of Medicine.
