Neighborhood Emission Mapping Operation (NEMO) is an anthropogenic emission dataset for the contiguous United States (CONUS) based on the US EPA National Emission Inventories 2017. It was produced by the Air Quality Laboratory at George Mason University and provides hourly emissions for four representative days each month, allocated to 1km grids using 108 spatial surrogates. The dataset includes gaseous and particulate pollutants speciated for the Carbon Bond 6 chemical mechanism across 9 source sectors.
Data is under a CC-BY-NC license, prohibiting commercial use without permission. Use for research requires collaboration with developers and may involve co-authorship obligations.
